What can I haul?
Anything that fits a pickup, trailer, van, or box truck and isn't on the
prohibited list: furniture, appliances, building materials, equipment, yard waste, pallets,
and small freight. No hazardous materials, no full household moves, nothing over the
vehicle's legal limits.
How are drivers vetted?
Before seeing loads, every driver completes
identity verification (a
government-ID + selfie check via Stripe Identity), uploads insurance and vehicle photos, and
attests that they carry insurance valid for paid hauling. Ratings after every job keep the
bar high.
To be clear about what this is and isn't: identity verification confirms a
driver's identity โ it is
not a criminal background check or driving-record check like
large rideshare platforms run. Insurance is currently attested by the driver, not independently
verified. We're actively evaluating third-party background checks (e.g. Checkr) and insurance
verification as we scale; current status is in the
Driver FAQ.
What does it cost?
Prices are itemized upfront: base fee, real route mileage, load size, and any
extras you choose (loading help, stairs). Most local jobs run $45โ150. When you book, your card
is authorized โ a temporary hold that reserves the amount (it can briefly reduce available
funds on a debit card) โ and you're only charged once delivery is confirmed.
Can businesses schedule repeat deliveries?
Yes โ business accounts can save jobsites, attach PO numbers to every job, and
set up recurring material runs with morning-priority dispatch and consolidated weekly
invoicing.
Can drivers use trailers?
Absolutely. Utility, flatbed, enclosed, and gooseneck trailers all qualify
after a quick verification โ and trailer-class jobs pay meaningfully more than bed-only
loads.
How are delivery disputes handled?
Drivers take a time-stamped photo of the load before transit and a proof-of-delivery
photo at drop-off, both attached to the job โ so "it wasn't delivered" can be checked against the
record. If something's wrong, you have a window to open a claim from your booking; we review the
photos and timeline and work to resolve it fairly. Cargo liability is limited as described in the
Terms.
Why does the platform take a fee?
The driver keeps 75%; the platform's 25% covers card processing, identity
verification, payment protection (your card isn't charged until delivery is confirmed), the
matching and tracking technology, photo-documented proof of delivery, and dispute handling โ things
a free classifieds post doesn't provide. As we add capabilities like background checks, that's where
the fee goes. If a free post works for your job, that's a fine option too; we're for when you want it
handled reliably.
Is this available in my city?
We're launching city by city. Create an account to get early access in your
area โ and if you drive, early drivers get first position in the priority dispatch pool.
